2019 Hope Conference was a Success!

June 3, 2019

From across the province, 200 people attend Hope Conference for two educational and inspirational days of turning the "impossible" into the possible.  Feedback received via 102 returned evaluations was extremely positive and all information gathered will be utilized to make our next event even better!  Some of the highlights of feedback include:

"I don't know how people could go on this journey without the info you have provided at the conference."

"Loved the format with all the branches gathered into one conference."

"Excellent!  Thank you so much for making a difference in our understanding and quality of life."

Our 2019 Hope Conference was, like this quote from Muhammed Ali, a living testament that...

"Impossible is not fact.  It's an opinion.  Impossible is not a declaration.  It's a dare.  Impossible is potential."

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended this premier education event!  We'd also like to thank our sponsors AbbVie, Sunovion, Radisson South Hotel Edmonton, Bayshore Home Health, Telus Health and Boston Pizza for making sure that educating people living with and affected by Parkinson's continues to be a priority!

A big thank you to our incredible line up of speakers and presenters:  John Baumann, Dr. Ron Postuma, Dr. Oksana Suchowersky, Dr. Naheed Rajabali, Dr. Jorge Perez-Parada, Charlene Heavener, Cari Cooke, Kathryn Brosseau, and Michelle Waldron.

Finally, thank you to all of the volunteers who lent a hand and to our staff for making this wonderful event possible.  Together, we are all making a difference in the lives of people with Parkinson's.
