Giving Tuesday

November 28, 2017

Though most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a new Canadian movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year following Cyber Monday. As the "opening day of giving season," it is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to rally for their favourite cause, "do good stuff" and donate where they can.

On November 28th, consider making a donation to Parkinson Association of Alberta. A donation of just $100 provides twenty information packets for people newly diagnosed with Parkinson's, two Parkinson's presentations to a care facility, post-secondary institution or community organization to help increase awareness about Parkinson's, or one month of our toll-free PD Helpline so that anyone, anywhere in Canada can connect with someone if they need help managing their Parkinson's.

We have several ways to make donations. Please visit our website by clicking here or by clicking the image below.

If you're active on social media on Giving Tuesday, please use the hashtags #GivingTuesdayCA, #DoGoodStuff, and tag Parkinson Association of Alberta in your posts.
