Parkinson Association of Alberta is committed to ensuring no Albertan has to face Parkinson disease alone.  Recognizing that not everyone wants to or can physically access our offices, traditional support groups or programs; Parkinson Association of Alberta offers a variety of additional ways to get the help and support you need to live better with Parkinson disease and Parkinson's Plus Syndromes.

This unique online feature gives you the opportunity to ask medical questions about the day-to-day management of Parkinson disease.  Our team of experts in neurology, neurosurgery, nursing and physiotherapy will respond.  Be sure to visit the "View Answers" section to browse other questions and answers.

Parkinson Association of Alberta is proud to partner with the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) to help people with Parkinson disease get the best care possible during a hospital stay.  With more frequent visits and a high sensitivity to the timing and dosing of Parkinson's medications, people with Parkinson disease face greater risks in the hospital.

This support option is a free, easy, and confidential way for anyone affected by Parkinson disease and other similar disorders (including care partners, family members and health care professionals) to receive information and support.  Whether it is providing information, answering questions, or simply listening, we are here for you.

Attend a support group from the comfort of your own home with one of our three year-round, monthly ARTA Charitable Foundation tele-support groups. Connect with others from across the province to talk about living with Parkinson disease.
