Thanks in part to funding from the Government of Alberta’s Community Investment Program and the vision and know-how of Focus Communications, Parkinson Association of Alberta (PAA) is pleased to launch this fresh new version of our website.
Our goal was to create a user-friendly browsing experience for people with Parkinson’s and their families while providing easy and convenient access to tools, resources, and opportunities to connect.
Over time, the PAA website structure fell behind new technologies and limited our ability to take best advantage of online outreach opportunities. Language and content became stale and outdated. Covid-19 and the necessary move to virtual/online programming further reinforced the need for us to invest some time and energy into our website to better meet the needs of our Parkinson’s community.
As we move forward, we will continue to learn and adapt this site based on the feedback of our clients and stakeholders. Have a look around and let us know what you think!
