The Centre
The Buchanan Centre will be an accessible wellness centre dedicated to people living with Parkinson disease, their care-partners, and their families. The Centre will help those living with mobility disorders by offering high-quality resources, support and education.
While researchers continue to work toward a cure, those living with Parkinson disease will benefit immensely from resources and support at the Buchanan Centre. A variety of education and information sessions will be provided, together with support from professionals and community.
Parkinson Association of Alberta’s New Home
The Buchanan Centre will become the new home of Parkinson Association of Alberta. The entire second floor of the Centre will be dedicated to housing Parkinson Association of Alberta’s operations, providing individuals and families living with Parkinson’s direct access to an Alberta-based organization dedicated to easing the burden through advocacy, education, client services and research.
